Research, numbers and planning that show where your store should go next.
Strategy
Our strategy practice
Most sites underperform for a reason that has nothing to do with design. The brand hasn't decided who it's for, what it's competing on, or what it wants a visitor to do. We settle those questions first, using research, your own analytics, and honest conversations about trade-offs, so every decision that follows has something to point at.

How we work
- 01
Audit what exists
Analytics, search data, current site, and past campaigns. We want the baseline in writing before anyone has an opinion about it.
- 02
Research the market
Competitor teardowns, category conventions, and customer interviews. We're looking for the gap between what buyers want and what they're being offered.
- 03
Decide the position
We narrow. This is the uncomfortable part, choosing what you're not, and it's the part that makes everything downstream easier.
- 04
Build the roadmap
A sequenced plan with scope, effort, and expected impact, so you can start immediately or hand it to another team.
Common questions
How long does this take?
Two to four weeks for most brands, depending on how much customer research is involved and how quickly we can get access to your analytics and team.
Do we have to do design and build with you afterward?
No. The roadmap is written so any competent team can execute it, including your in-house one. Plenty of clients take it and run. If you'd like us to continue, the strategy work carries straight into the design phase with no re-discovery.
What do we actually receive?
A positioning statement with supporting proof points, a competitor and category analysis, a page-by-page conversion plan, a measurement setup with the metrics that matter, and a sequenced roadmap with effort and impact estimates.
Who needs to be involved on our side?
Whoever can make decisions, usually a founder or head of marketing, for around three to four hours total across the engagement, plus read-only access to your analytics and any customer research you already have.
